Title: Canon 80D
Post by: Terry-M on May 01, 2018, 06:59:18 PM
Anyone here using an Canon EOS 80D?
I'm collecting one tomorrow as an upgrade to my 600D.
There's a good deal here in the UK at present, not only cashback from Canon, there's a very good trade in allowance on any working camera you have. My old 350D is worth a £100 with this deal.
I did consider the slightly cheaper 77D but QU is not yet ready for raw processing with that one - and no cashback!

If you do have an 80D, I'd be interested to hear your experience with it.

Hi, kind of new here. My daughter owns the 80D and loves it. I have the 7D2 and recommended the 80D for her. She was not interested in the higher frame rate and the higher rez and touch screen suited her better. Of course we would both like a 5D4 but realities of money kick our butts.

I am sure you will love the performance.

My advice would be get the best glass you can because you lose lens resolution on crop sensors due to only using about 62% of the image the lens provide.
