Title: borderless printing
Post by: sapper on September 04, 2009, 11:35:37 AM
I use Lightroom 2.4 and print from that on an HP B9180.
I can print borderless on most sizes, A4, A3 6x4 Etc. But not on 'custom' sizes.
If I use qimage, will I be able to do that?
I want to print on half an A3+, which is 24x33cm but LR/printer will not let me print to the edge, it gives me a margin of .25in on top and side and .56in on bottom which is wasting my paper.
I cannot print to this size using the HP software, it has pre determined sizes unlike LR where you can specify a size.
It is very frustrating.

Many drivers will stop borderless selections
when a user defined size is not compatible or even some predetermined sizes
are not suitable for borderless.

Maybe someone who has that driver on his computer can find a way to trick it.  That is not uncommon.
