Hello,
My current program view when shows photos on left side, photo layout in the middle column and Printers, Settings, Prints, Queue in the right column.
Is there a way to remove or minimize the Printer Settings/Prints/Queue Column and use the extra space to drag the photo layout or photos to have a larger column.  Once everything is set up, we don't need to view the job properties.  I have looked everywhere and probably missed the method but any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Steve,

Not exactly sure what you want.
We do have a startup option in EDIT / PREFERENCES/ When Qimage starts.... see screen snap 089. Select Printers

The other possibility might be how many thumbs on the screen.

See snap  091.
By clicking the Blue arrow at the top you can increase the number of thumbs in the view.
In that same menu list find Thumb Size and set to medium.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

Fred,
Thank you for the reply.  I apologize for the delay in replying to your answer.
What I was looking for is more real-estate for the photo print view area.  That area that shows us how the photo will print after being auto cropped and margins added.  The middle column....  without taking away from the size of the thumb view area.  There seems to be no way to make the right hand (3rd column) smaller so the left and middle columns have more space.

For our use, we sometimes have 30 or more photos to pick from and the print view will show a cropped version of what will print along with the defined borders.  In our case we have a .15" white border for each of the 4" x 6" photos, with 3 printing on a 8.5 x 11 special fabric sheet.

So it was important to review the print view larger in case something important was auto cropped and we needed to adjust the photo size manually.

I think I ran on and on with this description...forgive me... Bottom line:  Is there any way to make the right hand, 3rd column smaller and use the gained space for the print view.

Thank you so very much for your time !

No way to adjust panel size. So many different monitor resolutions and sizes... BUT, it sounds like to suit your need would be the Pge editor.
Select one of the 4 x 6 images. Select the cropping Tab top right,  With the cursor as a hand, you can adjust the crop within the print aspect ratio.
See screen snaps attached.

Fred,

Thank you for the quick reply.
For our business all photos are fabric printed as a 4x6 with a .15" white border for sewing.  QImage handles the job very nicely and we are extremely happy with the product.  We will try your suggestion and if that does not work well for our situation, we will still be a very happy customer !

Regards,
Steve.
