Title: Qimage and/or RIP software Post by: russellsnr on July 01, 2016, 03:05:36 PM Hi, Now I am just curious here as I have Qimage Ultimate already but are there any benifits of having a RIP software to work along side Qimage when just printing for your own personl satisfaction at home?

I just did a quick Google on Qimage vss RIP. Most stuff seems to go back years and therefore do not reflect more recent improvements to QU. There are very few who say there's a big advantage with a RIP, in fact may say in addition to the cost, there are disadvantages like limited profile availability and more difficult to layout and crop. Perhaps someone with direct experience will respond but I suspect the extra money would be better spent on something else.
