Mike,
I noticed 2 problems today, I had seen them before but did my first "real" download with FlashPipe today.

After a PC reboot and when setting up FP in the Operations section and browsing to and selecting an existing subfolder, as soon as I had done it, the folder name disappeared from the box. It was ok if I typed the folder in and once done I could then select another existing folder ok and it "stuck".

When doing a download, I set up 2 destination to copy to, no developing selected. The progress bar did not show anything and the numerical information stayed at 1/332.
I've just tried again after a shut-down and the same happens.

Do you have the auto-insert turned on to put today's date in the subfolder?  If so, you need to turn that off if you want to select an existing subfolder otherwise FlashPipe will keep trying to put today's date back in the subfolder.

But did the files copy anyway?  The progress bar is set up to move every time a file is copied so if the files are getting copied but the bar isn't moving, there may be something flaky going on with the reader or Windows trying to take control of the screen.  Also, when the bar stops moving, does the title bar of the window say "Not Responding"?

No, that was off, see screen snap attached.

Yes, they copied fine. It's just a little disconcerting not seeing the counter go up.

The same happens with the built-in card reader and the external one on the XP PC. Not checked Vista laptop yet.

BTW, when copying to 2 destinations, are all files copied to one destination and then the other, or is one file copied to both destinations before copying the next file? Just curious.

Mike,
I have checked this on Vista laptop now and get similar results (v104)
The progress bar went to 1% and 2/166 and stopped. Also, FP title bar had "(not responding)" in it. The files all copied ok.
When I put the CF card in the reader, Vista popped up a message saying it needed to be "checked", ie. scan for errors, but I cancelled that. Not sure if that is relevant.

I had the same problem with selecting an existing folder, it only worked if typed (or pasted) in, otherwise it would not "stick".

Both of these issues should be fixed in v2010.105.  Thanks for the feedback.

I'm pleased to help  Cheesy
Now that you've launched FP to the World, hopefully all the little glitches are sorted  Grin
All works perfectly here now, thanks.  Cool

Just to fill you in on another problem that was not yours but belonged to Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. I started to use that after you said you used it too and the trial run found stuff for me I was not aware of.
From the very start of FlashPipe, A-M reported a problem, on both my machines, with a temporary file in the Local Settings/Temp folder when FP was installed. I had to close A-M to install FP.
I eventually reported it to Malwarebytes on Wednesday, At their request I sent a developer log file the same day and on Thursday a new program version was issued. The fix list said "(FIXED) Scan detecting items that did not exist (junction issue)."
Their guys must have "taken a leaf out of your book" with respect to customer response  Wink
Just thought you'd be interested, you don't seem to have seen the problem with A-M.
Terry.
