Hi Dave

Maybe a little more information would help.

Do you have a mat cutter?  Are you familiar with the procedure for cutting a single aperture mat?

I cut most of my mats using a Logan mat cutter, so far mostly single mats, and occasional double mats.

If you need four apertures cannot envisage it being a problem. Are you talking the size and borders (ie the geometry of the cuts), or more the technique and procedure?

Willing to help if I can add something useful to the discussion.

Roy.
I have a Logan 750 mat cutter and can cut single aperture mat with no trouble.
I will try out the link sent by Jeff, it looks promising.
Cheers, Dave.

I use similar kit by Mat Master (Aussie) and have made a couple of multi aperture (>2) mats in the past. I was extra careful to mark out the back of the board. One of them had quite small apertures, that was tricky when cutting it.

I find a little sketch and calculating the dimensions myself quite adequate, it's not rocket science. I have looked at that program but found the terminology a little foreign to me so was never quite sure which dimension to enter in which box.   Huh? By the time I'd done that , I would have done it on a piece of paper.  Roll Eyes

Terry-

Was it the term "weighted" that got you?  There is an option to do that or not.

I can't remember the detail, I've not opened it for a while. A diagram defining the terms used would be helpful in the program Help.
I'm quite happy to calculate myself with the aid of a little sketch, it's the engineering training you know  Roll Eyes
