Many of the problems in trying to get excellent quality prints from Canon printers is the difficulty in determining which paper and selection of paper match!
Also Canon has odd names for its printer profiles.

This should help a lot.

Wow Fred,

Add mental telepathy to your Superhero Status.

I have just asked on two other print related sites for this information. Got a reply which was useful, but nothing like the comprehensive information you have uncovered with your message. I is very timely for my printer/printing requirements. I should have inquired here first.

Thanks

Grumpy old man

Glad I got lucky and was able to help.
Yes, this is a nice place to visit. No one carries an attitude and someone usually tries to help.

One small issue!
We have a Jeff on here that signs as "Grumpy"

You sign as Grumpy Old Man.

I wonder if there's a conflict?  Grin Shocked Huh? Roll Eyes

I'm sure we will get some opinions shortly.
I hope Grumpy Jeff will post here and tell us if "Grumpy Old Man" infringes on his Grumpy.   Tongue Roll Eyes Huh?

No © problems here. Smiley

I have spent over 70 years perfecting the attitude, the more the better Smiley Smiley

It's all google's fault.  I was trying to sign up for a google account and they kept rejecting all sensible names,  I eventually blue my top and went for Grumpy-Jeff with a very rude password, which was rejected 'not long enough'  That really upset me Smiley Smiley Smiley Smiley

Oh you were the one that used "PENIS" for a password, and they said, sorry, not long enough?
