Hello, I just upgraded to your latest version. I have printed 4x6 perfectly centered but the 13x19 are skewed to the bottom right no matter how I center them. My printer is Epson Pro 3880. I have no problem printing from Lightroom.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Can you better define what you mean by skewed?  You mean there is just more white border on the left and top sides?  As far as I can see, the 3800 series printers don't have a size selection for 13x19.  Are you using a user defined size?  Are you using IntelliCenter placement mode in Qimage to ensure the prints are centered?  Qimage and Lightroom will have the same non-printable margins since they are using the driver so if they print differently, either your print size or driver settings are different in LR.

Mike

Yes the picture is off center. There is less border on the right and bottom. I have tried intellicenter, center, manual etc. but it makes no difference to the print even though it looks fine on the screen.
There is a 13X19 choice but it has an asterix next to it. That is what I'm using. I've tried fit to page, fit to paper, and using  11x17 image centered on 13x19. they all come out exactly with the same skew. I've just finished printing it perfectly in Photoshop.
Cheers,
Dan

You have a setting in Qimage that is affecting it.  First, check Edit, Preferences, Print and Page Formatting, Page Margins, and make sure all "Additional Margins" are zero.  Then go into the driver (Properties button on the Printers and Settings tab) and check on the "Page Layout" tab in the driver.  If there is a check in "Reduce/Enlarge", UNcheck that box.  At that point, as long as you are using IntelliCenter placement, you will get centered prints.  You can verify that by checking the "Print Preview" box in the driver.  You can verify that the preview shows the print is centered before it actually prints.  If it is centered in the Epson Print Preview and it doesn't actually print centered, there is either a hardware issue with the printer or the paper is not physically 13x19 in size.

Everything checks. Additional borders are set to zero, reduce/enlarge was unchecked, the print preview looks centered and I'm definitely using Epson enhanced matt 13x19. As I said the printer prints perfectly in PS and LR . I used intellicenter. The only option at the moment is not to use Qimage which would be diappointing.

I can tell you that Qimage is printing correctly.  The Epson print preview is proof of that: if the driver's preview shows centered but the print doesn't come out centered, that is between the driver and the printer.  Qimage is out of the picture at that point.  You've verified that Reduce/Enlarge is not checked in the driver and you're not printing borderless, so that leaves us with two options: either the printer is not loading the paper properly or the paper is not 13x19.  Measure the paper and make sure it is exactly 13x19!  I've lost count of how many times a package will say 13x19 and the actual paper is not quite that size!

I can't address LR or PS: I don't use Adobe products to print.  I do know that both PS and LR do things to modify your prints without even telling you so for all we know, the print being centered in PS could be an accident.  For example, you can tell PS to print a 13x19 when the driver/printer only has a printable area of 12.766 x 18.766 and it will print your "13x19" without even telling you it is actually printing a 12.766 x 18.766.  Qimage is much more precise than that and will print exactly what it says it is printing.

And again, if you get a Print Preview from the Epson driver that shows the print centered but you get anything other than what you see on that preview in your actual print, that's an indication the problem lies somewhere other than Qimage.

P.S.  If you have any more questions, please post a screenshot of the full main window in Qimage with your print showing centered, with the tabs on the right set to Printers and Settings.  We may be able to notice something in the settings that we haven't thought of.

You're right and I'm shocked Shocked I just measure the actual sheet and it measures 11.75X16.5 instead of 13X19. So I'm going to put in the actual size as a user defined setting.  Thank you for your help. This is a major relief to know.

Whew.  Thanks for letting us know.  I expected it to be off a little but that's not even close!  It still surprises me how often this happens.  If I hadn't seen it so many times, I wouldn't believe it either!
