Title: Best purge settings for Pro 1000
Post by: KHR on April 09, 2021, 11:42:42 AM
New to Qimage just yesterday and new to the Canon Pro 1000 (which I haven’t received yet, back ordered)
I’ve been ready all this stuff about cleaning cycles of the printer and my question is.
Are there ultimate purge settings and a print patterns that will be best suited for this print to reduce ink waste as well as exercise the printer to keep it running smoothly?
And can these purge sheets be printed just on normal paper stock or should it be a photo paper of some type?

Sorry if there is a thread for this somewhere, if there is just point me into the correct direction.

Dont worry about previous threads, answering is the imporftant part with a solution hopefully.
You can use crappy copy paper for the print We are only telling the Unclogger, that we have glossy so to ake sure it will use the glossy black ink, if it had two blacks. Same goes for making a second profile to print using matte paper....... so it will use MK blick.
As for you often, you determine that by how long the printer is idle and does it need an UNCLOG yet?
