Hi all,
Just took delivery of an Epson Stylus Pro 4900 11 colour Ultrachrome printer.
Massive printer, in size that is, I had to create a special bench for the beast.
Ordered it with the spectro, however that is apparently not available here in Australia until mid to end January.
Straight out of the box, print colour not to bad.
Any one know if mike or any one else has generic profiles for this machine??

Regards

Hi Eric,

Not specific to your query, but this may be useful wrt setting up the beast - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CyEi7atCYEU
There are profiles for the epson papers on the cd, afaik. I think it's a bit new for other brands of paper to have profiles available.

Best wishes,
Ray

Hi Eric,
In addition to profiles on the printer CD (as Ray said), there'll be a full set on the Epson web site for their papers. Also, other paper producers, such as Ilford, do sets of profiles too.
I've found Epson profiles give good results and the Ilford have made good improvements to their profiles in recent months.

Thanks guys,
Didn't realise that there were profiles on the cd.
Very much appreciated.
