Title: Paper
Post by: Jeff on July 06, 2018, 03:37:50 PM
Just a note to any body interested (in the UK that is)

The bog standard paper I am using is purchased at our local Poundland.   12 sheets 220gsm glossy at £1.0
They are in receiver ship so expect this bargain will dissapear soon.

On line I can find same  paper on Ebay 8 sheets £2.99  Amazon 8 sheets £2.69 and Amazon again 20 sheets 3.50 post free if £20 order.

Currently trying out similar  ?same paper from Boyes 20 sheets for £1.99 appears the same.
Using the same Munki profile I created for the Poundland stuff and so far I cannot tell the difference.
I will create a new profile for this paper when I get time.

Some will ask why use a cheap paper on a top quality printer.  ---  answer costs.
A lot of my prints are given to interested parties and they just give a quick look and cover prints with greasy thumb prints.  So why use paper at £1.0 a sheet?   For hanging on wall etc I use top quality paper.

The paper comes well packed in envelope and cellophane and stiff card backing.

Anybody know of alternative UK stockist?

I can scan the outside package if anybody interested and post small image here.
