I have an old HP 7960 photosmart that I use to print 5x7 copies of street images that I give to people. I don't see a profile for this old machine. Will Qimage significantly improve the printing or even work with this machine? If so, is there a tutorial to read & an ability to test the software? Thanks.

Thanks for writing.
You are always welcome to download the software for a free 30 day demo.
As for settings. probably, the best settings to try would be to use the LET PRINTER Manage Color routine.
See snap attached.
To the right of the red writing is a button.  Yours might not be red until you click that button. Then set the driver to ICM.
You will be amazed.

HP's own profiles for the 7960 are pretty good. I assume one could download them from the HP web site, and select one in Qimage?

That's the way to go.  HP will have those drivers all the way through Vista.  Knowing HP, I would uninstall the old ones first.
