Holy Crappoli!  that's Italian for Gee Whiz!

Maybe it's just me, but too often I make a set of prints and forget to add the "credit text", "Photo by Marilyn".
I have a half dozen or more of beautiful prints that are being shown in public and I have to throw them out?

Here's how I fixed those prints: Good to Go!

The first screen snap, 002, shows the image in the print Editor screen with a 0.1 blue border around it.
That is the print I made and forgot the 'Photo By' text.

1) Step 1. In the Page Editor screen, make sure you have the image selected and not the border, and Right click and click on CUT TO CLIP BOARD.
The image is gone, leaving a blue background (Depends on the border color you chose).

2) Step 2. Insert your missing floating text and position it on the border color which aids you to place it exactly where it should have gone.
In my case a skinch above the 0.1 in border and on the image.
Yours may be placed differently.

See screen snap 004 which shows the text in red in the lower left corner. (I made it red and extra large so you can see it better)

Click DONE and go back to the main screen.

3) Step 3.
Click on the little zebra button (print Properties) inside the picture in the preview panel, upper right quadrant.
Now click on the number "1" border button.... and click on Clear both borders.

See screen snap 005

You should now have screen snap 006 which shows the text to be printed on a transparent Template. The template is invisible to the print and printer and will be ignored.

4) Step 4. Now take your finished print and run it through the printer using this set up to print only the missing text in the assigned location.

Works like a charm... saves paper and ink.

Have fun!

Fred
