I've encountered errors which I'd appreciate some help with.
This isn't new, have encountered it in recent times but I seem to get past it for a short time before it reappears.
Have just opened the program again, did nothing else and an Invalid Pointer error comes up, then directly after an Access Violation at address 00405B01 in module Qimage.exe, Write of address 000204B0. I continue clicking on this one until it goes, but QUI has now hung. I printed some photos unhindered this morning, but yesterday had a similar run of errors until I did a reset and re-downloaded and installed fresh drivers for both printers.
I just now shutdown QIU, open with another reset to be greeted by Access violation at address 0040A32A in module Qimage.exe. Read of address FFFFFFFC. I have no alternative but to close the program.
The print job this morning I manually chose the printer settings.
Next I'll reboot and see if that helps.
Any comment appreciated.
I continue to think this is a great program. This is only a minor hiccup.

Regards,

John

I've reset everything under HELP and all seems to be AOK thus far.
I'll get back if it reoccurs.
A previous post on access violations was similar and helpful, maybe.

I had similar problems - see previous posts.

Then access violation problems ceased and all was well.

But, two days ago my Win 7 did an automatic update, even though I had got updates knocked off owing to previous troubles.

89 updates went well this time but, QImage is now suffering access violations again.  Suspicious???

I was creating four email .jpegs QI kept getting AV and hanging, could clear this by clicking 'Done' and after a couple more attempts it created three email copies!

Will be watching what the future holds and keeping record of AV's and will post back if problem persists.
