Hi all

I use an old Epson 4490 scanner and have both the Epson software and Vuescan, which is the best to use with Profile Prism.

Hi Paul,
I don't know the software that comes with your Epson 4490, but Vuescan does allow RAW scans.
Try both and see what thye results look like.
Go here!

Download the test image.
Make your profile, and a print.
Try to compare.

I Have a very inexpensive Canon LIDE type scanner which I use only for profiles.
