My spanking new Profile Prism arrived on Saturday and I made my first profile this afternoon. Any time wasted can be put down to failing to get Vuescan to 'calibrate' my, also new, Canon scanner - not helped by the Canon software wanting to grab the machine as well. But nothing wrong at all in the way PP worked. Well done Mike!

First question. My Epson 2400 has the Advanced Black and White mode that, IMHO anyway, is worth using. Someone told me at the weekend that it forces the printer to use more black ink and hence better tonality. That same person has made himself a profile to run alongside the AB&W.

What is the view around here about AB&W ?

Tony
