I run PP on Widows 7 64 bit, so it is compatible.

Wait for tomorrow or Tuesday when Mike can have a look at the error label, and give you a clue where the problem might lie.

I just Googled it, and I get some clues:   "Please check the permissions to the program's directory. You can just grant full access to everybody in the program directory and subdirectories."
