Title: ICC profile OFF
Post by: ferreirj1 on October 22, 2018, 04:09:12 PM
Hi. I am trying to produce an ICC profile for a Canon 9000 mark 2 with kirkland glossy paper and precision color inks. I scan my printer target with an epson v550 and histograms are good. When I create a profile and apply it in qimage (v2018.125,) I get a print with a yellow green hue. Printer head alignment and nozzle check is fine. Any recommendations would be appreciated as I am going crazy trying to get good prints.
thanks

I'm sorry. I cannot discern if you are creating a printer profile, or a scanner profile.
If a printer profile, you must set the driver to color management off, correct paper selected and anything else the paper manufacturer recommends.
Place 2 targets on the scanner glass. The IT-8 and the target that is in TIF form that you printed on the paper that you are profiling, for profile making.
