Mike, Any chance of doing a grayscale printer target to produce nice neutral prints?

Hi Peter,
I don't think PP is set up to read a purely grey target. The existing target has grey patches as does the IT8 standard.
A fundamental for any colour printer profile is to enable a neutral grey image to be printed and PP is set up to do that. Also, if you are not satisfied with a profile, it can be edited.
Assuming you are printing black & white images, it should be possible to tweak a profile made for colour to get greys to how you like them, save it and use it for B&W only.

It was just a thought that a full 256 step grayscale might help to create "pure" Black and White images with very fine gradation. Pete
