I am thinking of purchasing profile prism later this year; will I be able to use my silverfast Ai to generate the profiles on my epson perfection 3200 scanner?  Any advice appreciated - thank you.

I'm no expert here, but I use Vuescan as my software, and I make a raw scan saved as a Tif.
Si it is likely that Silverfast should work.
Perhaps Mike will clear it up, and perhaps someone using Silverfast can corroborate.

Profile Prism can profile any piece of equipment or software that can deliver an RGB image of the target.  The one stipulation is that you have to be able to turn off all automatic settings in the software (like automatic contrast).  So Silverfast should be fine for profiling a scanner since I believe it has more control over the color than most software.
