I ordered Profile Prism with a 35 mm slide IT8 target yesterday and have since been reading various sources of information. Profiling the Epson V500 seems straight forward but the slide is not as clear. I mostly shoot Fujichrome and scan it with a Nikon LS4000 using VueScan Professional. Will the slide be useful for profiling the scanner for all films or just negatives? I realize I can photograph the target to profile the film but thought one produced under ideal conditions would be better for the scanner. Now I am not so sure. Would someone please help clarify the situation?
