Fred,
I don't see myself at this moment paying renewal fees at this stage.
However, thank you for suggestion. I may give it a try. Hopefully it doesn't interfere with QI installation. Am I correct to presume that?

okay that worked.
I changed to selected image
BTW, so there will be no improvements in studio and below editions of QI?
thanks!

Can no longer toggle between "high quality preview" and "soft proof". Was this feature stripped out?

What convenient way to avoid providing free lifetime upgrades. Just change the name of the package to "ultimate". Wonder what comes after this. "super"?
6  Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition / profile evaluation / validation software on: August 24, 2010, 10:18:03 PM
Is there freeware / shareware software (reasonably priced) to evaluate created profiles for monitor, printer and other. I would like it to show gamma, white point, black point and gamut of the profile.
Thank you!

Hi,
I moved all images from Desktop to a new folder and then they read okay in QI. Moved them back to Desktop again and voila they were okay also.
Puzzling to me what happened.
Will keep an eye on this brhaviour.
8  Mike's Software / Qimage Studio Edition / error reding JPG images on: August 17, 2010, 04:26:07 PM
Saving JPG image in CS5 and QI 209 gives me error. The same image displays normally in all other apps, like Faststone, ACDSEE, etc. Resave as TIF and it's fine.
What's wrong?

Invalid diploma for lack of Mike's signature. Or maybe you're Mike just use a pseudo Terry? Grin Huh
Still I think is a bug and needs to be fixed. Undecided

Here a new screen shot. No other program just QIMAGE.
Look at text distance from right bottom borders in both.

IMHO it will make a noticeable difference, but try calibrating it in standard mode setting br to 30 and contr to 50, RGB will not be accessible on OSD.
Try it. What you got to loose?
