Title: Print a collection of photos of different sizes Post by: Amadeus on December 03, 2016, 01:31:05 PM I am creating a collage of photos and I want to print each one at different sizes.
What I'd like to be able to do is to say I want photo 1 at 4" wide for example (with length being whatever that works out to be to keep the photo ratio), photo 2 at 2.5" wide etc. I would load the printer up with lots of paper and QImage would optimise how they are printed on each page. Ideally I'd be able to set a margin around each photo as well (e.g. 2mm) so that each photo didn't blend in to the next photo. It may of course be possible to do this already but I'm not seeing it! Yes, it's all there. When you say 4" wide,,, that would be 4 x 6 with crop scissor OFF. Se screen snap attached You can use the placement selection below your main view screen, to set optimal, or compact, or optimal spaced, and add a small white border or mat to each image to keep them spaced as you wish. I've had a quick play with that and it looks like it'll do what I want (not sure if it rearranges all photos in the queue - I'll do some research). It would be useful if dragging the corner would show the new size (dynamically) rather than having to gauge it visually. thanks for your help. Yes, you can do that in the Full Page Editor, just double click just outside the preview (or right click & choose edit page).There you can drag to resize and see the size, re-position and move images to a different page. Re-positioning will automatically change the sorting to Freehand. There's a little red F top right, as is on the preview too. There's lots more in the Full Page Editor, right click on an image to see the list! You will have to try the placement selections and see what each does. It certainly will rearrange the images using a space saving logic. I made the mats in red so you can see them, but white makes a nice spacer. Hover your mouse pointer over each image for the actual print size. You can drag corners to enlarge or shrink in the Page Editor screen. \Use any ZEBRA button to change or select print size to any size you want. Many years ago, I joined a forum and asked a question. I virtually got stomped on.... "Why don't you read the help file before you bother us."
