Hello,

I would like to see the actual printer settings (specially the media type and the printer profile) and date of printing (not of the file) in the footer. Setting the information in the IPTC data/text doesn't solve this issue, since it's telling you e.g. what paper should have been used but not the actual printer settings, being used for the final printout. Specially if you think about printing test images for paper-test, this information is essential.

Thanks,
Wolfgang

I write that on the backs of my test prints.

Me too.  I also write down - on the back of the print -  filter settings particularly if I am dorking around with subtle flesh tone/lighting nuances.
