I now this is basic but I went to a folder of pictures and one of them had its name written in blue. The others were in black. I thought this meant it had a filter........Wait a minute.... I just checked and I had tried to process it in raw. When I removed all the raw processing it went back to black ink. So I guess it's blue for raw and red for filter..This really is a neat program.

... and carry that a step further, and suppose you had a REFINE filter and that made the name blue, and then you decided to Tone Sharpen, or crop the image, or add a cutout from the Image editor screen. It would combine the red color and the blue color, and you get sort of a magenta pink color.
