Hi Mike!

Is there a way to populate an entire template, say 8-wallets, with one image using just one click instead of eight clicks?

Yes but not quite one click if you count the preparation!
Open the template layout from Print Properties - Custom
Set the number of "Copies to Add" to 8, see screen shot below.
Select the thumbnail
Click the red + button adjacent to the Copies to Add box; NB. the + becomes red once thumbs are selected
That will load your template with the 8 copies of the one image. Done
Don't forget to set Copies to Add back to 1 when finished  Roll Eyes

ok cool I got that part figured out.... nowww.

Is there a way to save that setting for a custom template.

For instance:
We always print 8 wallets from one image. How can I get that particular custom template to always open with 8 copies set.
Same with pairs of 5x7s or four -3.5 x5s. etc etc?

I cannot find a way at present. I tried loading a template and set the number of copies to 8 and then saved that as a job. However when the job was recalled, the number of copies was not changed.
Maybe Mike can suggest something or make that a new feature in some way.

That would be an awesome addition for those of us printing several sheets prints per client.

Now another question:
Is there a way to get Qimage to open by default to the print size menu in the CUSTOM mode? We always and only use our custom templates and it would save several clicks, hence production time, hence payroll=profit!  Grin

A little bird has flown across the Atlantic that tells me that saving the number of copies may well be on it;'s way soon  Wink
Regarding easier access to the Custom size menu, Mike is aware of your request.
