Question: The small Instaview window opens 6 times: how do they appear to open?
It's obvious that the small window fades-in the first three times and opens instantly the last three - 7 (30.4%)
I think I see the fade, but it's far from obvious - 14 (60.9%)
They all look the same to me: I don't see any difference in how they open - 2 (8.7%)

Check your mouse settings in the Logitech software, it should be set to "middle button". Sounds as though yours is set to zoom or something.

indeed that was it!
Now I have to decide  I like the fade or  instant view...
decisions ,decisions, oh my  Grin

You can hold the enter key too: same as holding down the middle mouse button.  But it is worth mentioning:  you have to hold either one (middle mouse or enter).  The Instaview displays as long as you hold the button and disappears when you let it go.
