Title: COLOR CAST (CANON IP8750 AND OTHER MODELS) Post by: mical on February 19, 2018, 02:45:35 PM Almost went insane trying to figure this one out. Bought a canon ip8750 three weeks ago.
All the prints I made using the canon print preview box checked printed with a strong color cast when used in conjunction with ICC PROFILES. After much advice, research, trial and error and reading that other users had experienced the same issue, I was advised not to use the Canon Print Preview. My conclusion is: DON'T USE CANON PRINT PREVIEW. UNCHECK IT. PRINTING DIRECTLY FROM QIMAGE - NO COLOR CAST APPEARS ON THE PRINT!!!!!!! This seems to have solved the issue for me. Using the canon print preview option along with ICC Profiles appears to double profile the PRINT. First screen shot was printed directly from Qimage canon print preview unchecked (then scanned the print) Regards Mical. Just let Qimage do its thing - no need to use the Canon print Preview! :)
