How do I remove a saved schedule when the printer driver has been deleted from the computer?  I've operated the reset thing in the help, and I've clicked on the delete icon in all the lists I can find, but it just won't go away.

I haven't used this feature for ages, and in between then and needing it again now, I have changed printers and (I suppose stupidly) deleted the old drivers and profiles.

I can operate round the problem for manual unclogging, so to speak, but if I try to schedule it, it stops with a "can't find the driver" message.

Windows 10 Pro and QImage 2018.101.

I expect I'm missing something, but I can't figure out what that might be.  I would be happy to just edit an ini file, given directions.

If I delete a printer, and meed to get it off the unclogger, try this.
See screen snaps
Right click on white or blue clock. That opens tehdialogue box where you select the printer to delete.
There are two locations that shoe the printer.
We need to select it from the upper location.
Then Right Click it and select delete.

Thank you.  Done that.  Excellent.

Now, how do I delete the "Saved Unclogger Setup"?  Even though it apparently won't get used, it's untidy just leaving it there.  Not important in the grand scheme of things, but....

Cheers

Easy Peasy as our pal Terry would say....

Open auto job log by clicking on the 4th icon in at the upper left corner of the main screen.
You can scroll to the bottom of mthe list of saved jobs.
You will see a bunch of them starting with #unclog.
In the right hand column you will see the printer that printed the job.
You see the deleted printer, right click and delete the file.
You can use the Search feature and QU will highlight the selections found.
You have to give a good clue to search. In my example, I searched for Epson WF.
As you scroll through you will see the unclogger pattern on the right. Then you are sure you have the unclog saved job for the right printer.

Not sure why you want to delete so badly. We all have tons of saved jobs that have long disappeared from the innards.

Excellent, thanks.

Yes, I could easily have ignored the ex unclog jobs.  I just like to know how to do stuff, even if it's trivial and irrelevant.  What was niggling me was the fact that the deleted thing was appearing in a drop-down list in the UI.

I used to drive the IBM engineers mad back in the day when I was running a computer bureau (remember those?) and one of the indicator bulbs failed.  They thought I was potty too, but the little twinkling lights were the first thing to look at when a program failed - as they were inclined to do.

Just curious,,,,
I used to live right outside of Binghamton, NY and knew some IBM guys. I am still in contact with one. They transferred him to the south. Can't remember now if it was Charlotte NC or Marietta Ga.

When you said you wanted to delete one of the "saved unclogger setups", I thought you were talking about deleting one of the items that appears in the drop down list under "Current unclog settings" on the dialog that appears when you select "File", "Print Unclog Pattern".  To delete one of the items in that dropdown, you only need to select the item in the dropdown list that you want to delete and then click the red "X" to the right of the dropdown.  After clicking the red "X" button, it will no longer be in the dropdown.
