I print on roll paper on an HPZ3200 and prints almost always need trimming to size. If it is a one off I drop the print on any oversize page size and use "Mark Corners" in Qimage and "Remove Top/Bottom Blank Area" feature in the print driver, then trim all four sides. For sizes I use regularly, eg 700x500mm, I have a custom page size 24"x700mm. I centre the image on the page and the printer cuts to length leaving just two sides to cut. I prepare the image in PS by adding white space top and bottom to make up to 500mm then add mm of black to give a cutting guide for the other two sides, screen grab attached to illustrate. Today I discovered the Photo Mats feature which could be very useful as I could add the top and bottom on the fly, also I very often print with different borders top and bottom, but I can't find any way to save a Photo Mats set up and apply to different images. Is there a way?

Thanks,  William.

Hi William...
To recall a setup with the uneven border Mats, Use the Template thumb which is the last one of the thumbs. Set the print size, and set the mat size, and SAVE as a Layout using teh SAVE and the L button.
To recall the layout, from the print size tab, use Custom, and dot ther LAYOUT. Find what you named it, and Open.
