Getting this error message and then QU hangs and has to be aborted.  All of the photos in the folder were generated using the QU "Create E-mail/Web Size Copies Command"  V 2018.119.

Any ideas??

What were the images before you created email copies?  JPEGs, TIFFs, Raws?  And what saved them (where did they come from)?

Sorry for the delayed response but I have been doing a little homework on this.  The folder in question has only seven photos - all created from the "Create Email . . . " command.  Six of the originals were out of the camera (Nikon D500) jpg and one was out of the camera NEF.  All had QU crops and filters.   I ran again creating another folder of six without the NEF but have the same problem.  Note I don't have this problem in all of my folders that come from the "Create" command but do have it in several of them.

I backed up to V2018.118 and the problem does NOT occur.

Thanks Mike - as always.

Thanks Mel,

I downloaded a bunch of D500 JPG and NEF images and can't reproduce the problem.  I also don't see anything in 119 that could affect the create email/web copies command.  Could you zip the contents of that folder (including images, filters, QRS files, etc.) and put it on Google Drive or WeTransfer and send me a link at mchaney@ddisoftware.com?

Regards,
Mike

OK - just put the offending folder on Google Drive.  There are no filters - just the jpegs as this is the folder that is the result of the "Create . . " command.

OK.  Thanks.  Did you email me the link to the Google Drive folder?  I don't see it: even checked spam.  The folder containing the 7 originals with filters would also be helpful: I really need to catch the problem when it happens.  The resulting folder (the created JPEGs) might help but by that time, the problem has already occurred and the image headers have already been corrupted.  Instead of email, you can PM me the Google Drive link(s) here if you like: that's probably easier.

Mike

Just checking to see if you got the links to the two folders.  If not will resend them later when I get home.  Thanks

Yes.  Thanks for the links.  I fixed the problem in 120 which will be released later today or tomorrow.
