If you live in the US or Canada, we can try to get it solved over the phone..... perhaps later as I have to go out for a while.
You are measuring the actual prints, and the ruler is in inches?  :-)

Hi Fred

If you send me your phone number and available days and times, I can call.
I'm in Toronto, so we're metric...but I still remember inches.

Thanks

I wrote to you using the Private Message routine from the forum, and gave you my phone number and the good times to call.
I did this before I read Terry's email suggesting that I ask if you have SKYPE or Yahoo Instant Messenger.
With Skype, there's a way to see my screen. With Yahoo Instant Messenger, I can make a quick Video and send the file over YIM very rapidly.

Looking forward to having a shot at fixing this.

When The Rays play the Blue-Jays, and win, it will be extra sweet knowing you are watching in Toronto.  Grin

PS Terry is the Metric Man.  I can have him on Skype converting to inches for me, and you on the phone at the same, time talking in metric.

OK I know you have all been waiting for the answer, and like anything else, after you figure it out, you wonder how you could have missed it before!!

First I have to say that met one of the nicest people ever. It was entirely my pleasure.
We conversed via SKYPE and shared screens too.

Simply put, there was a white border which was part of the image. So Qimage Ultimate was filling the request for an 8 x 10, and made an 8 x 10, which it sent to the driver.
The only thing was that the 8 x 10 included the white borders which were part of the image, and made it appear like they were margins between the print and the edge of the page.

Somewhere along the way, some program was used to create this image and had added the white into the image.

OK, now we can get some sleep! :-)

"One of the nicest people ever"  -  That's Fred;  humble and knowledgeable.

You were patient and systematically led me through all the steps in resolving the problem;  and taught me a few things about Skype.

I appreciate your help.

Thank you
Roman
