My printer can print 12" x 18".

I want to print an image ... say of 24" x 48".

Is there a way to do this in QI ....  QI makes the layout and prints different sections,
then I paste together ?

Yes, It is called Poster mode.

I can't find a video. Be happy to make one if you need it.
In the meantime, It is sort of self explanatory.

1) Select paper size . I set QU that I was using 13 x 19 paper.

2) Select print size. I selected 24 x 36

3) Place your image into the queue with auto crop on.

4) Qimage will tell you how it will print on how much paper.  (see image 104)
It is saying 2 x 2, meaning to sheets to cover the horizontal and 2 for the vertical It's hard to see in the screen snap; top left corner of the image.

5)Now put 4 sheets in the printer and print.

6) You can print single sections if you need to.  See screen snaps 106 and 107

I forgot to mention, if you want to use 8.5 x 11 paper, that's fine. It will just require more sheets to complete the task.

Thanks Fred ... but it is confusing for me. Seems it will not show the whole layout on screen ( similar to image below from another software I looked at )

I rarely used Poster, and what I did was use some plain copy paper and make a test run.
Maybe someone else is more familiar with is.
