hello everybody

My printer supports back printing. It will auto back print the filename. When i process my images via the hot folder Qimage generates an auto name of its own. On the page I am looking at it says Qimage - 2015-02-18 17.11.22. Is there anyway to override this? I would like my original filename to show up.

thanks for any info

The text that you are referencing is the job name in the Windows spooler.  I'm guessing you have some sort of utility that can print the job name on the back of the page.  In order to get that to print on the back of each page, QU would have to send a different job for each page.  In addition, to get the name of the print on the back of each page, it would have to assume only one print per page.  While it would be possible to add those options: splitting each job into a separate job per page and naming the job by the first image on the page, I'm not sure how useful that would be to "the masses".

Thanks and it makes sense. I was trying to eliminate the need for an extra 1/2 in of paper with file info printed in it on each page and actually use my back printing ability. The epson driver doesn't have many options.

thanks again
