A small annoyance is using raw refine with portrait orientated photos.
The image detail box is too narrow so the info about file size and exposure run over the slider labels. It all works OK but looks a bit naff.

John,
Another mystery
See my snap attached.

Where are you scrunched? Can you make a snap?

I didn't make a screen snap of the entire grid. That is portrait. The file came out over 128K
He was concerned with the scrunching of the text on top of each other, and that's what I captured.I took half the vertical size.

Portrait picture of Fritillary flower  in refine raw

Close up of box beneath it.

I can expand the frame but the info box stays too small so WB and HDR labels are overwritten.

I found the attach button so I'll see if this works.

John,
I've seen this before with browsers. It was usually caused by some Windows setting of the dpi for fonts.

What do I see to the left of the words; Raw Photo Developing Options?
Look at my screen snap, and look at yours.
I have the latest version.
To the left of the words, you show two outlines of something that I don't show. It might be just the difference in "skins" between yours and what I use.

What is your screen resolution?
Have you made any adjustments to the Windows fonts?

Those are the design blobs on the gray skin, other skins still give the bunched up result.
Screen is resolution 1024 by 768, but varying up and down have no effect.
Windows font is not altered.
It seems strange to be able to increase the Raw Photo Developing Options surrounding window size but the picture and image detail box keep just the same.

1024 x 768 is bare minimum these days and is the reason your raw refine dialog is so small.  You wouldn't have that problem at larger screen resolutions.  I'm not sure I'll get the time to modify the dialog to work perfectly on "tiny" screens but I'll take a look at some point.

After checking it out, I can't even get a problem with 1024 x 768.  I don't see how you got a refine window that tiny.  Can you post a full size screen shot of your entire screen showing everything?  Maybe I'll see some clue in the actual screen shot.  I can't tell much from downsized partial screens.

Thanks,
Mike

If I set the screen at 1280x1024 the box appears OK.
So looks as if my 17 inch screen is the trouble. It's not easy viewing at this resolution.

Thanks for the screen shots.  I think I can tweak that out in the next version.
