Title: Spacing of multiple images on one sheet... Post by: clinchfield on December 08, 2018, 04:24:31 PM I'm printing three 4x6 images on one 8.5 x 11 sheet. (Canon PRO-1000)
Under the Prints tab, I've chosen 4.00 x 6.00. Under the Printers and Settings tab > Media size, I've chosen Letter 8.5 x 11. How do I get at least a little spacing between the two parallel images to make trimming easier? When I print the page with the three images, there is still 1/4" at the paper edges so is there a way to nudge one or both images a little to create space between them? I have tried all the print placement options but I don't see any choice that does what I want. Title: Re: Spacing of multiple images on one sheet... There is no way to move the image as the printable area is 8.0 and 4x6 against a 4 x 6 = 8.0 inches.I have tried all the print placement options but I don't see any choice that does what I want. BUT the easiest way to do it, would be to apply a small border, either in color for design, or in white to be invisible. Either way, you get your spacing to cut. Fred See Screen snaps. Post by: JustGeorge on December 09, 2018, 06:00:58 AM I haven't actually tested this by making a print my PRO-100, but visually in QU it looks like if I turn on Borderless printing in the driver, I get a small white space around all of the prints, and the prints don't seem to be bleeding off any edges. Using IntelliSpace (a couple of other spacing options also seem to work). This may not work with any other printer. And of course there may be other problems with this option that I'm not seeing. When I get a chance I 'll test this theory.

I didn't realize the printable area was limited to 8.0. If that's true, how are borderless prints made? The reason is because Canon designed it that way. See screen snap od Epson R2000. You can see the printable is 10.766 x 8.266 inches.Qimage does not control that. Fred |
