Hi, I have the latest QI installed 2018.116 and have two printers Canon ix6850 anf Epson R1900.
Now before when I used the unglog pattern on both printers I got a clean pattern but now the pattern that shows up in QI when Q up the image for printing looks like as in the the attached image (I Hope) and prints out on both printers the same so I no it is not the printers at fault. Thankyou, Russ.

Hi Russ

Not exactly sure what you are asking, but I have to point out a few parameters when trying to compare patterns from two different printers.
Printers have different ink colors and numbers of cartridges. You have to be specific about checking and unchecking the colors in the Unclog  screen.
Next. If you set up one printer paper as luster or glossy and the other set to plain paper, they will be different. The quality setting that go with the paper quality would be different.
Also, set the Color Management back to printer normal.
Try that and see what you see.

Hi Fred, Hope you are ggod?. The images that I placed in the posting are from QI itself not printed images, that is what they look like when I place one in the Q for printing.
Used the snipping tool from Windows to capture the images.
Here is another image just I hope to see that this is what QI is showing before I press the print button.
I notice that the Sweep Pattern is also changed from the prtevious version? before it was just diagonal lines now it is like a triangle shape.
The settings where not changed in the printers from the last two weekly unglog pattern print out on the previous version of QI.
Thanks, Russ

I didn't know where your question was pointed.
Mike recently improved the patterns and altered the sweep. It now uses half the ink it did before.

This was a couple of versions ago, maybe 115 or 114. I would have to look it up.

It was the latest version 116

2018.116 offers an updated unclog tool that is more effective and uses half the ink, plus stability and UI improvements.
