Do i only get 1 attempt at Prints-choosing the print sizes? Because the 1st attempt will show a yellow highlight around Fit to Page (because i chose it). Then when I choose another size i would lose the yellow highlight and never get the yellow highlight back. Even if i click on Fit to Page again nothing shows that I have chosen it......
From then onwards i'm flying blind as to which sizing I have now engaged.

I very much prefer the way QImage worked in v 2017. I'm always getting my panties into knots working with the v2018 version.

This is very simple, but not easy to explain so bear with me.
The screen has an operational left side, and an operational right side.
Certain items depend on what is being called for.

There is a yellow dot/ball above the active side that alerts you to what is active.
See screen snaps 119 and 120.   Yellow ball on  right above the middle screen, and yellow ball above the thumbs.
If the thumb side is active, the  yellow highlighted sizes will always be there regardless of how many changes you make.
Qimage assumes that with the thumb side active, you want to add an image to the queue at a certain print size.

You even have two control dots, lower right that allows you to choose what the size selection should do; add another image at a new specified size, or resize the selected image.

Yet, there's a simple way to know what size is currently the working size. Roll your mouse cursor over the empty main print screen, and a large label pops out to remind you.
See snap 117 for the label and 118 to show no yellow highlight at that moment.

Arrgh.....I still have issues with V112.

Am i meant to restart qimage everytime i make a small change in my settings?

I printed 1 x A5 size.

Did some modification to the file on Photoshop.

Qimage refreshed the file - and changed my paper to A4 - fit to page - the print preview changed to 'fit to page' and i thought everything was OK -  But it came out printed A5 on my A4 paper !!!!! This is not the first time it happened like this - it looks like the refresh settings are not being sent to the printer.....Huh?Huh?

No such thing.
Just follow the steps I show below.
By the way, I am assuming print size is same as printable area size.

OK simple stuff.
You have A5 paper selected. you click on Fit to page.
Print size is now equal to printable area of an A5 page. That is 7.95 x 5.56.  Snap 158 below

Change paper size to A4 in the printers and settings tab in Qimage. Printable area is now larger; 11.37 x 8.0
Print is still A5 size.  See snap 159 below. It is on the A4 paper size.

Now all you do is go to PRINTS tab and click on Fit to page.....
You see the smaller print sitting on the larger page. If it did not change before your eyes to look like snap 160, You did not select the image of which you wish to change the size.

If so, click once on the image and then Fit to Page.
It can't fool you since you are looking right at it.
You can always slide the mouse cursor over the print area and read the print size before it is sent to the printer. See snap 161
This should do it for you.

When the setting has been set to 'Fit to Page' is should remain so whether it's A4 or A5.

Am i correct to understand what you said is that on my A5 setting it is Fit to Page....but when i changed to A4 that Fit to Page no longer applies and i'll have to manually change it to Fit to Page (for the A4 paper)?

So that's what i meant - u would assume that it's on Fit to Page will be enforced.

It is a different size paper, and therefore the Fit page size is different..
Would you have a print size of 4 x 6, change to a larger size just because you changed the paper size?

Think it over... you will get the feel of it.

I"m happy to see there's an update to v112 to v113. I won't miss v112. I hope there's improvement in the way qimage is used. All that left brain.....right brain stuff....and when I click a button i don't get the results I expected......thank-god Boeing and Airbus has not bought that left brain/right brain philosophy. Otherwise planes would be falling out of the skies.

When I click the function I expect the function to work correctly....just like a typical microsoft, Apple or Adobe software.....no funny/weird stuff. It must be intuitive.

V112 was a bit wonky. I've yet to use V113.....here's hoping for an improvement.
