Now that I have the profile for my new EOS Rebel T1i I cannot get Qimage to recognize it, or show that it is recognized. Referring to the instructions in the readme.txt I extracted the files to \programdata\ddisoftware\qimage\profiles and checked that Custom Profiles was enabled in Raw Format Options. (Camera profile for EOS Rebel XT is already installed for another camera model). The readme file says nothing about inserting the profile in the Color Mangement setup as an image input as did my previous profile. Shocked As a consequence to the profile not being recognized, View/Print queue lists sRGB.icm as the default for all RAW and JPG files.  Sad

The exif info has camera as Canon EOS Rebel T1i and ICC Profile: <no embedded ICC profile>.

Is there something I have missed?  :-\

P.S. - Also copied profiles to C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\color as precaution.

I suspect that is a new model camera from Canon. The model is new to me.
Please tell me the exact name of the profile......   .icm

There are three profiles in the zip folder: EOS Digital Rebel T1i.icm, EOS 500D.icm, EOS Kiss X3.icm, different names for the 500D. The camera model is relatively new, perhaps been out a year. Model T2i is coming out now.

Hope you can shed some light on this issue, Fred. If it means anything I am using Windows Vista 64 with Qimage v2010.205.

Here's the purpose of having three profiles.
Depending on what area of the world you purchased the camera, it night carry a different name from another area of the world.
The cameras are essentially the same and so are the profiles.
The reason is that the profile name must match (EXACTLY) the camera name.
My camera is EOS 20D
My profile will not be recognized if it is EOS_20D or Canon 20D or anything else but EOS 20D   exactly.
So my suggestion is that you compare the name shown in the EXIF  (INFO) With mouse pointer poised over a thumbnail of an image shot by your camera, you click CTRL i, or right mouse button and select display image info; third up from the bottom.
That will show the camera name that Qimage is seeing. Now make sure the profile name is exactly the same, even if you have to rename the profile.
Let me know what you saw and did.

Display Info (EXIF) Make: Canon  Model: EOS Rebel T1i
Hovering exif info in status bar ICC: srgb.icm

Action: Changed file name C:\ProgramData\ddisoftware\Qimage\Profiles\EOS Digital Rebel T1i.icm to EOS Rebel T1i.icm
Hovering exif info in status bar now ICC: EOS Rebel T1i

Apparently issue is solved. Thanks for the nudge in the right direction, Fred.
