Hello Mike,

I appreciate the various recent updates to QImage. Is it my imagination, or is the soft-proof view now clearer and more convincing?

I'm currently composing a series of 4" x 6" image information cards (saved as a Job) to be displayed beside the corresponding framed image. Often, to add another card (page) to the series, I copy the image and text of a previous card and paste into the new page. If I do that, I need to change the image on the new page while leaving the text fields intact and in position.  Is there a way of doing this?

Failing that, is there a simple way to have various text fonts and line formats in a single multi-line floating text field?

Thanks

From the main window, if you drag a thumbnail and drop it on the filename in the queue, that image in the queue will be replaced with the one you dropped.

P.S.  I haven't made any changes to the soft proofing function.

Thanks Mike. That works fine.

Next question, also to do with the same exercise as in the OP.

On the main screen, if I insert a new page and then go to the Full Page Editor to copy the contents (image and floating text) of another page into it, the blank inserted page has disappeared. Is this intentional?

Thanks

Yes.  The blank page can only exist on the main window (long enough to drag a new thumbnail/template to that page).  You'd have to at least drag a template to the page to get it to stay.
