With a sheet loaded, a print page defined that fits on that sheet.
I select Fit to Page + +border 1mm (The borders go outside the selected print size).
Load the image and I get the warning at printing time that part of print will be done on another page.
I expected that the image + +border would both adapt to the print page size.
With the image selected in the queue and increasing the size to 3mm the total image + border adapts to the print page.
Selecting the image again in the queue + 3mm +border still on and a Fit to Page again and the total goes again over the boundaries of the print page.

If that is logic when selecting Fit to Page, could there be a block added on the +border in that condition?
I do understand that using a normal border is more in line with Fit to Page but maybe one shouldn't learn the hard way.

Hi Ernst,

I checked it out when you first posted. I can't really help with your specific statement, I think there may be other attributes that come into play, such as wind direction, day of the week, whatever. However, in general the border settings do tend to be a bit 'flaky'. It almost works most of the time, but if you try to repeat the specific problem, something else generally happens. Maybe it all gets fixed, maybe not.

Best wishes,

Ray

Ernst,
I agree there is some odd behaviour there and I can reproduce the problem. When I increase the size (in custom) and asked if I want to spread over more than page but say NO, it is not honoured.
The quick fix is to click the crop scissors of and on.
Terry.
