Title: how to print to a file in qimage one on a mac?
Post by: docmaas on June 28, 2018, 01:53:36 AM
I want to be able to see the dfs sharpening output without printing the whole image to see it.  As you can imagine having to print test images for each change in dfs for each image you work on is a problem.  I've tried saving to pdf but read in another post that you don't support pdf files and sure enough different dfs settings look just the same in the pdf output.

Any suggestions?

thanks,

Mike

Ok.  I found a thread on LULA where this is addressed pretty clearly.   I appear to be behind in my releases so I await the automail telling me how to upgrade.  No need to answer this right now.

Ok upgraded to .19 and the softproof is what I was looking for though the ability to print is also useful.  Good Job.  This makes Qimage One much more useful.

BTW it is possible to send a jpg to a file via the print option on a mac and differences between different levels of dps are visible in the files.  You can find how to do this on a mac here:  https://discussions.apple.com/thread/2603999

thanks,

Mike
