Popular Shortcuts in Other Areas of Qimage
In the Image Editor
Right click on the image to bring up the small blemish and redeye correction window. This window also "doubles" as a real-time update window for filter parameters. As long as you leave this small window open, changes to filter parameters can be previewed instantly in the preview window.
When creating new images using the image editor, the edited versions need not be saved with the {Q} prefix. Click the checkbox that reads "Only use {Q} prefix if destination file already exists" on the final filter application dialog (right before actually saving the filtered images). Qimage will then use the {Q} prefix only if the file being saved already exists (such as if you are saving in the same format and you have NOT selected a different output folder).
