After uninstalling my pro-1 printer due ,due to air in my system-I keep getting this error message-"unable to load printer driver settings for Canon pro-1 series".

After I hit "OK",qimage starts normally.

Can anyone tell me ,how to avoid this error message?

Have you tried to Select a different printer in Qimage?
... and most important, Unlock that padlock at the upper left of main screen so QU wont continue to look for the Pro 1

Yes,I also own a pro-10..it works perfectly in Qimage.
