Title: Nikon D5000 Software
Post by: ALSD on May 29, 2009, 04:15:53 AM
Hi,

I recently purchased a Nikon D5000, not sure if I sould even be asking questions on this site as it seems where the Pros discuss much more indepth and technical points that I wouldn't understand.

I was wondering if there is software available for the Nikon D5000, we are only starting with the world of Photography and by all account the Nikon D5000 is a reasonable entry level DSLR, we have taken a number of shot and produced tehm on A1 Canvas through a Canon imageprograph iPF610 to around A1 in size and are very happy with the outcome.

I would trully appreciate any comments regarding if Software is available or may be available in the future.

Regards Tony

Can you tell us a little more about what you'd like to use the software for?  For example, are you looking for something that can develop raw photos, something to batch print, something to do tethered shooting, something to retouch/edit photos, or possibly some combination?  Problem is, it usually takes several programs to do everything well.  If we know a little more about your needs, we could probably come up with suggestions.  A typical example workflow for how you want to use the camera might shed some light.
