The old color pulse eliete I have has 729 patches with it I am building icc version 2 and 4 under default lighting...
What is the norm? Does 729 patches versis 343 really make a difference for RGB usage?
Also does the ICC version really make that much of a difference?
There is no "norm." Some say 729 isn't required. Others say that the subtle differences make tighter profiles. I would e-mail Cathy's Profiles and some others, ask how many they require. Better yet, DL their chart and see what they want.
If you are using an auto table, use the max.
