I have just built a new computer, with a new operating system (Windows
, and am using a new monitor (Asus PA248Q), and a new camera (RX100). I would like to be sure with this new software, hardware, and reinstall of existing software that my color management system is intact. Here is where I am at:
Camera - Set for sRGB
Monitor - With hardware setup buttons have selected sRGB
AMD Vision - Display software left at default, 6500 K temp.
Windows 8 - Is confusing as there are bunches of settings under advanced color management. However the default display seems to be IEC 61966-2.1 which I believe is standard sRGB.
Photoshop Elements 11 - Color Settings - "Always Optimize Colors for Computer Screens"
Qimage Pro (Used for printing) - Monitor ICC - IEC 61966-2.1, Printer ICC - Let Printer Driver Manage Color
Printer (HP Photosmart Pro B8350) - Typically use HP Premium Plus setting
I'm thinking this will give me sRGB color space all the way through the process until it gets to the printer driver. Correct? Or have I missed something?
