Post by: CHoffman on October 16, 2021, 01:09:13 PM I spent a lot of money a few years ago on a nice workstation-level machine to do image processing and scientific stuff. I got the Kaby Lake processor as it seemed like a good choice at the time. So now we have Windows 11 and my processor isn't on the list. Can't upgrade. Manipulative MS bastards must be in bed with the hardware people to sell more hardware.

I have TPM, though the hardware plug-in modules seem to be rare as hen's teeth. It's the processor list I needed to get around. Not sure when I'll give 11 a try, but I tend to be an early adopter.
