My new PC has Win7, 64 bit. Where can I get info on how to establish Qimage Studio on this PC from my current Windows XP, 32 bit. Or should I start clean with Qimage Ultimate? I have my Registered user name and unlock code but do I e-mail DDI for a download password and user name? My new PC should be here on April 8 but I won't be setting up right away. Thanks for any help or suggestions. Bruce.

Hi Bruce,
I guess the answer lies in how long is a while?
Tomorrow is the 8th, and the new machine arrives.... you leave it in the box?

You are asking if you should install Studio in the new PC and later install Ultimate, or whether you should install Ultimate right away without Studio first?
I think that's the question.

It's a No-Brainer.
Regardless which one you install, you might still want to "COPY OVER" the saved jobs and printer setups you made, if you still use them from the XP machine.

Here's what I would do... Install Ultimate.
Ultimate will make a set of folders in the PROGRAMDATA\ddisoftware\Qimage directory....  see screen snap 093

In your old XP machine, you will find similar folders but in a different location.
Copy the contents into the new folders in the new machine.
Then you are set to go.... of course you will need to download new printer drivers for 64 bit W7, most likely.

Hope this helps...
Fred
