I just downloaded the full version of Flashpipe and tried to install it. I got an error that indicated that "...Flashpipe.exe has stopped working..." When I clicked on the Flashpipe icon I get the following error:
"Application Error
Exception EInvalidPointer in Module Flashpipe.exe at 000049C9.
Invalid pointer operation."
Win Vista 64 SP2
8 GB Mem

Just dowmloaded v102 & now have the "FlashPipe has stopped working" message. Running Vista Ultimate 32bit - the files which Vista wanted to send to MS implied incompatability with Vista!
I have reset the datafiles to D:\datafiles\ddisoft (I have no access whatsoever to default folder).
I may have a Vista problem - can't wait for the pre-ordered W7 updates next month!

Well, I just rebooted the computer. Clicked on the Flashpipe Icon and it opened with no error message! I've never had a problem installing any of the DDI Software Products - this is the first time and it apparently fixed itself. Now that's service!

Installed it on two Vista systems and three XP systems here. No problem. Are you installing under restricted accounts?

Mike-
There is an MS debacle going on with the photo folders in XP/Vista/Win 7; especially preparing for the XP>Win7 jump. MS with their folder name changes to "simplify things" with the XP jump has now created dual folders. Apparently both appear to have photos but the My Picture folders really are hidden links to the real images. The transition worsens with an upgrade rather than a clean install. One can wind up with three or more identical folders throughout, some of which are real and others that are "ghosts."

Looked up imminent in the Yogi Berra dictionary: be along any minute now.
